As previously announced, two of our Board of Directors’ positions are up for election in 2025. Please note that no petitions to run for the Board of Directors were received by the February 21, 2025 deadline.

Since nominations will not be accepted during the meeting, voting this year will be done by acclamation during the 71st Annual Meeting on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. As stated in our previous email on February 3, 2025, the Annual Meeting will be held virtually.

The following have been nominated to serve three-year terms:

• Joe Paul (incumbent) – Sr. Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Consumer Business Group at 3M
  Mr. Paul began his career with 3M in 2008 where he has held various marketing and business leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Strategic Management at the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management. He lives in Hudson, WI with his wife and two sons.

  Mr. Paul has served on Novation Financial’s Board of Directors since 2022.

• Erdem Olgun – Sr. Director – USAC Marketing at Solventum
  Mr. Olgun started with Solventum in 2024, prior to that he was with 3M since 2003. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Istanbul Technical University. Mr. Olgun currently lives in Woodbury, MN.

Mr. Olgun, why are you interested in serving on the Novation Financial Board of Directors?
Since moving to the United States several years ago, this credit union has been our trusted financial partner, and it remains our primary financial institution to this day.

As a seasoned Sales and Marketing Executive, I have developed a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. My professional journey has equipped me with the skills to drive growth, enhance member engagement, and promote financial inclusivity. I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to support the strategic goals of Novation and to contribute to its continued success.
