Caribou Coffee announced a data breach that may have affected credit and debit card accounts used to make purchases in 265 of their stores between August 28 and December 3, 2018. The compromised data may contain debit and credit card information such as: customer name, credit or debit card number, the card's expiration date and CVV (three-digit security code) on the back.
Novation is monitoring this situation closely and we are committed to protecting your financial information. We will continue to monitor the situation and actively review member transactions to identify any Novation-issued debit or credit cardholder who may have been impacted by this data breach. For your protection, credit and debit cards issued by Novation utilize the very latest in fraud detection technology. If we note suspicious activity on your account or activity which appears to be outside your normal transaction patterns, you will be notified. In addition, our members should be assured that our debit and credit cards are protected by Visa’s Zero Liability policy which assures you will not be responsible for any fraudulent activity which could occur on one of your card accounts.
