Novation Will Continue to Remain Open to Serve our Members

We are an essential service and are open to serve during the stay-at-home order for Minnesota
Oakdale, MN – As financial institutions are defined an essential service, Novation will remain open to serve our members during the stay-at-home order declared by Governor Walz on March 25, 2020.
Always know that deposits at Novation are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) per individual up to $250,000, just as bank deposits are insured by the FDIC. You, as our member, can be assured your money is safe.
The health and safety of our members and staff remain a top priority for us. Therefore:

  • Please make use of our 24/7 mobile, tablet and online banking solutions. Go to and click on “Mobile and Online Services” for a full listing of our convenient self-service options.
  • Our branches in 3M buildings 222 and 275 will remain closed in accordance with operational and security procedures established by 3M.
  • Our Hutchinson and Oakdale branch lobbies will continue to remain closed until further notice.
  • Our Oakdale branch drive-thru will remain open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to offer as many of our regular lobby services as possible.
  • Special appointments or access to your safe deposit boxes in our Oakdale branch will be accommodated on a case by case basis. Please call us at (800) 369-6628 to discuss options or for any other questions you might have. Access to the branch will be limited based on CDC guidelines.
  • In Hutchinson, we ask that you please utilize our Online Banking and Mobile app solutions for your daily needs. You can also call (320) 587-4666 ext. 419 if you need other assistance. Please note that like Oakdale, access to the branch will be limited based on CDC guidelines.
  • As a reminder, we do have night deposit boxes in Oakdale and Hutchinson. These are available 24/7 and any deposits made are processed hourly during business hours.

In addition, the Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) created a website with additional resources from financial counseling to food insecurity for Minnesotans during the COVID-19 pandemic:
During these times, members are urged to contact Novation staff to discuss any financial concerns.  We are also discouraging our members from withdrawing large amounts of cash which can increase your risk of fraud and safety. Your money is safest on deposit at Novation where it is also insured by NCUA.
