Nationwide reach
Beyond serving 3M members in the Twin Cities, we provide membership opportunities to employees at 3M plants throughout the U.S. By working with Plant Managers and Human Resources staff at these locations, we promote our unique 3M employee offerings during on-site visits multiple times each year.

History and governance
Novation has had a long history of service. We were originally chartered as Minne-Mine Credit Union on June 24, 1954, by eight 3M employees. Since then, we have grown to over $215 million in assets, serving more than 16,000 members worldwide.
Novation is owned and governed by 3M employees. All 3M employees, their family members and retirees in the U.S. are eligible for membership. Our Board of Directors is elected by our members. They’re active and retired 3Mers, so they’re always looking out for your best interests.
