Novation Foundation and FHLB Des Moines Provide $20k Grant to BestPrep

Novation Financial and the Novation Foundation are thrilled to announce, in collaboration with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines), the awarding of a $20,000 grant to BestPrep!

BestPrep is a Minnesota-based organization that prepares students in grades 4-12 with business, career, and financial literacy skills through hands-on experiences that inspire success in work and life. The Novation Foundation has proudly supported BestPrep’s mission through financial donations and volunteer time, most recently providing 22 students in two area high schools with eMentoring and mock interview experiences during the 2024-25 academic year.

With the help of awarded funds from FHLB Des Moines’ Member Impact Fund, this $20,000 grant will further help BestPrep bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace skills for students throughout Minnesota.

Your investment helps Minnesota high school students gain valuable career insight, explore future pathways, and build the skills they need to succeed.

I got really good feedback on all the questions I asked in the emails and it helped me learn a lot, and have a better idea of what kind of skills I might need in my future.
